Vilnius Airport has only one business lounge, Narbutas Business Lounge. It impressed us with its modern design, comfortable seating, and clean environment. Food and drinks were good, with a cold buffet and various beverages. Read more about our Narbutas Lounge experience from the article.

The Sole Lounge at Vilnius Airport

Vilnius Airport, Lithuania’s primary international gateway, is relatively small in scale. As a result, it features only one business lounge called Narbutas Business Lounge. We had the opportunity to experience the Narbutas Business Lounge in August 2024, and this review is based on our impressions.

Our Visit to Narbutas Business Lounge

We were embarking on a flight from Vilnius to Helsinki aboard Finnair. Despite travelling in Economy Class, we had the privilege of accessing the lounge thanks to our Priority Pass membership. This membership was a perk of our American Express Platinum card, but it’s also feasible to purchase a Priority Pass membership directly.

Finding the Lounge

Following check-in and security, we were ready to locate Narbutas Business Lounge. It was situated before passport control, which was convenient as we were flying to a Schengen destination and didn’t need to pass through passport control. We easily found the lounge on the left after security by following the signs and taking the stairs.

Lounge Access

The lounge welcomed all business class passengers except those travelling with Scandinavian Airlines. Additionally, Priority Pass, LoungeKey, Diners Club, LoungeMe and DreamFolks members were also granted access. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options for entering the lounge.

The lounge welcomed also status cardholders of certain airlines, like Finnair.

Entering the Lounge

The entry process was straightforward. We presented our Priority Pass membership card, and a boarding pass, and were promptly welcomed into the lounge. The staff were professional and friendly.

First Impressions

Our initial impression of the lounge was fantastic. It appeared remarkably modern and far exceeded our expectations. The lounge seemed either new or recently renovated. The modern furnishings, fresh design with soothing colours, and immaculate cleanliness made it an inviting space to relax. The green plant wall behind the reception desk was a nice touch.

Overview of the lounge
Right after entering the lounge, we realised how modern it was. The lounge was a mixture of Scandinavian and Baltic styles.

Table in the lounge
Wooden surfaces and light but fresh colours were used to make the lounge feel calm and alive.

Food

While the lounge didn’t offer hot food, it provided a satisfying cold buffet with a diverse enough selection. This included sandwiches, salad boxes, yoghurt, fruits, sweets, cakes, and ice cream. The selection could have been a little better but this kind of cold buffet is typical in lounges in Europe.

PRO TIP

There are many ways to access airport lounges.

Drinks

The drink selection was equally good as the food buffet, featuring bottled water and soft drinks. Alcohol was also available including wine, sparkling wine, beer and spirits. Of course, there was a coffee machine for those seeking a caffeine fix but it was already late, so we skipped coffee this time.

Water and soft drinks were served in bottles.

Customers could serve themselves beer, wine and strong spirits.

Other Services

Beyond food and drinks, the lounge offered several basic amenities. The free Wi-Fi functioned flawlessly, and there was a designated charging table as well as numerous power sockets near the seating areas. The lounge provided Lithuanian newspapers, a flight information screen, and a television.

Charging table
There could have been a few more power sockets to charge your devices near every seat but this charging table was a practical solution.

We would have appreciated a few more power outlets, as they weren’t universally available. While the lounge didn’t have a shower, it did include a toilet. As a pleasant addition, there was a private booth for those seeking a more secluded space, for example, to make calls.

In this private booth, you could make calls or join online meetings.
